Misnoma have developed an eclectic style which seamlessly fuses intelligent lyrics (English with a bit of French and Spanish) and strong grooves, fronted by the beautiful voice of Ayesha, with latin percussion, jazz influenced keyboards, samples, beats, guitars, soaring strings, and video art by VJ Jo.

Ayesha’s ‘magnetic personality and powerful live performance’ has earned them a large following in Barcelona, where they are based. Residencies include City Hall, Club13, Oven, New York Club Barcelona, plus UK festivals appearances on Shambala’s main stage and Glastonbury’s Leftfield stage as well as main stage at the UK organised Rocket Festival in Granada, and San Sebastian’s Jazz festival Jazzaldia alongside names like Erykah Badu and Herbie Hancock.

Their debut album "Make it right this time" was released on iTunes in 2007 which

they followed up with a summer tour in the UK, France and Spain. In 2009, after a remix competition brought in numerous collaborations from producers from around the globe, they released 5 remix albums under the name MiXnoma.
